About the Role:

We are seeking a Frontend Engineer with expertise in Next.js to develop an intuitive and high-performance web interface for our innovative Voice AI platform. You will collaborate closely with our backend and AI teams to deliver seamless, AI-driven voice automation solutions for businesses. This role is perfect for someone passionate about creating scalable and interactive web applications, while using modern techniques such as server-side rendering (SSR), incremental static regeneration (ISR), and static generation (SG).

About Phonio.ai:

Phonio.ai is revolutionizing business operations by offering a Voice AI platform designed specifically for non-developers. We help teams in marketing, e-commerce, and customer service integrate AI-powered voice interactions directly into their business workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize our web application with Next.js and Redux.

  • Use SSR, SG, and ISR to maximize performance.

  • Integrate REST APIs, WebSockets, and gRPC to enable real-time voice AI interactions.

  • Manage state using Redux to ensure consistent data flow.

  • Ensure high performance and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.

  • Implement cybersecurity best practices in the frontend.

  • Optimize the UX/UI design to improve user experiences with voice-driven workflows.

  • Work with the backend team to ensure smooth integration of features.

  • Implement secure authentication methods (OAuth, JWT, session management).

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in frontend development with Next.js.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript.

  • Hands-on experience with Redux for state management.

  • Solid understanding of SSR, ISR, and SG techniques in Next.js.

  • Experience with integrating REST APIs, WebSockets, and gRPC.

  • Strong knowledge of frontend performance optimization strategies.

  • Familiarity with authentication practices (OAuth, JWT, session management).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with text editors (e.g., ProseMirror, Tiptap, Quill, Lexical).

  • Experience building flow-based UI editors (e.g., drag-and-drop workflow builders).
