Job Overview: Full Stack Developer (Senior Level)

What You’ll Be Working On
As a Full Stack Developer at Makkajai, you’ll help build and scale mobile-first learning games that children love. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Designing and writing cross-platform code in OOP languages (Java, C#, Kotlin, etc.)
- Building and enhancing interactive games using Unity
- Iterating quickly through development and live playtesting with children
- Maintaining a high standard of code quality, documentation, and performance
- Working closely with designers, pedagogy experts, and testers to ship delightful features
- Continuously learning and experimenting with new technologies and game mechanics
Core Skills & Requirements
You’re a great fit if you have:
- A strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming, algorithms, and data structures
- Proficiency in any OOP language (e.g., Java, Kotlin, C#, Scala, or Haskell)
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
